Yuko Inui Inui International Speaker Profile: Ms. Yuko Inui Ms. Inui is a member of the Kyoto Bar Association and a seasoned energy lawyer with nearly two decades of experience advising on renewable energy and real estate projects in Japan. She began her legal career at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe’s Tokyo office in 2006 and spent over a decade as part of its renowned Energy & Infrastructure Group (2014–2024), before founding Inui International Law Firm in 2025. She has conducted legal due diligence for over 54 solar projects (totaling 1,692 MW) and 30 wind projects (totaling 2,257 MW) as of April 2024. Her deep understanding of Japan’s regulatory landscape and practical experience in navigating complex permitting and transactional issues make her one of the most trusted legal advisors in the sector. Ms. Inui was recognized as a Next Generation Partner in the 2024 edition of The Legal 500 Asia Pacific for Projects and Energy (Japan). |
